Jason Alaska is admitted to practice law in Connecticut. He joined Blair & Potts as an associate attorney in 2024.
Jason's practice focuses on estate planning and estate and trust administration. Jason advises individuals and families on crafting sophisticated estate plans to meet their personal goals, with particular emphasis on estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning. He also assists clients with audits of tax returns.
Jason received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law where he also earned a Certificate in Tax Studies. As a part of an accelerated program, he received his B.A. and B.S. from the University of Connecticut at the conclusion of his first year of law school. During law school, he volunteered at the Tax Clinic to assist low-income taxpayers with various federal and state tax law matters. Prior to joining Blair & Potts, Jason worked for a global tax services firm in their commercial tax services branch and tax controversy team.
Jason currently serves as Tax Chair on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Connecticut Bar.
